Caved in

It’s as if you’re in the confinement of a coffin or this large bubble with a little oxygen- a bubble which refuses to pop!

Have you been struggling to ease yourself out of the monotonous routine of life?

I can present to you many events of feeling trapped in life.

Envision a school setting where your days are planned with classes, labs, group sessions, homework...This leaves a little flexibility to be engrossed in a social life or for alone time.

Present yourself in the rat race-spending hours in a job, another extra few minutes in traffic, a few more minutes to eat, talk, have a bath, and then fall into a stupor of sleep.  Another day begins with the same routine.

Visualize a  struggling artist, getting up daily waiting for an inspiration, working patiently on his art and hoping that someday he will have a potential client who is willing to pay enough for his work.

Albeit, a boy or girl where in almost many situations in their life, they face discrimination by people who are blinded to see the truth…

Whatever the circumstance, many of us can relate to the heaviness, the pressing feeling of fear and slavery to our situation.

Recently, I’ve been thinking about a myriad of chaotic events and what ifs.. I’ve also come to the realization that people cannot always be trusted and neither do they have the answers to our problems. The only one who is able to truly sympathise, and send answers is the author and finisher of all things-God! He is the one who made us and is also the reason why we are in our present situation.  Yup! There are instances in our life when we’ve been warned and refuse to listen so, we become punished for it.  It then becomes our responsibility  to obey and repent to be free from our present slavery.

To expound upon this, I have faced one of the worst terms since being in an educational institution. Yet, despite all that happened, I feel joy! I know that God loves me and he is able to lift me out of it. So, right now, despite what happens God is working on my case and will deliver me.
Which brings me to you, allow yourself to be filled with the joy and hope to know that God will lift you up and out of your prison. He has a way of sending angels ( I met one this Semester) to elucidate that he still exists and he looks after his own.  So, as always be on the lookout-help is on its way!

See if you can give this a listen. It's from an artiste known as Kayte Grace!
